Microbrewed Beer of the Month Club Review
The Microbrewed Beer of the Month Club is a top of the line beer club and is probably one of the best out there. You may have noticed, depending on how low you have been active in beer clubs, that a lot of them seem to come and go.
Either the distributor goes out of business, or they never end up developing enough clients on the monthly beer list to justify the added expenses of it and just cut the program. Either way, you will start to notice a certain amount of turnover with many of these companies, something to look out for.
History of Microbrewed Beer of the Month Club
Contents
The Microbrewed Beer of the Month Club, however, has been around since 1994, so you can be sure it’s not going anywhere. One of their points of pride is that fact they have been around for so long and are now celebrating their 20th year of operation. They’ve been around for 20 years and haven’t missed a beat!
Customer Service
They also have an excellent customer service, which is probably one of the reasons they have been able to stay in business for so long. Customer service is essential to a beer club because you want to make sure that your shipments are coming in on time and in the proper manner. If a box comes in broken or damaged, you’ll want to get a refund or a new one shipped out right away. This won’t be a problem at all with this club.
Different Beer Plans
Another great part of the Microbrewed Beer of the Month Club is their selection and their selection process. Let’s start with their selection.
They have three different monthly beer plans that you can be a part of, all with their own unique style and branding.
Plan 1: The first plan is their U.S. Microbrewed Club. This package features two different lightly distributed U.S. domestic microbrews each month. This package is great for those of us looking to expand our knowledge of U.S. brews and gain a deeper knowledge of domestic beers. It also happens to be the most inexpensive plan.
Plan 2: The second plan is the U.S. and International Variety Beer Club. This is, in my opinion, the best plan to go with because it gives you a little taste of both domestic and international beers. I, myself, am more of a fan of domestic, but I also want to try a few international brews every now and then.
Plan 3: The third plan is the International Beer Club. This one is the brother to the U.S. Microbrewed Club, but, instead, it solely features beers that are crafted abroad, like Germany, Belgium, England, etc.
Rare Beer Options
They also have a specialty beer plan that features rare U.S. and international beers. Aptly labeled the Rare Beer Club, this club promises to impress even the most particular beer drinkers. So if you know someone who is especially snobby about their beers, this is the plan for them. It’s a little more expensive than the other three plans, but it’s worth it if you’re looking for those beers you just won’t find anywhere else. On the other hand, if you’re just starting off with beer clubs, I wouldn’t recommend this plan.
As you can see, the Micobrewed Club has quite the selection of beers both from the U.S. and abroad, but how do they go about selecting the beers that are included? They actually have an equally impressive selection process.
Beer Selection Process
The Microbrewed Beer of the Month club has a team of expert beer judges and brewmasters that hand pick each and every beer that makes their monthly beer. They literally test hundred of kinds of beers each year to ensure the best of them all is making its way to your doorstep.
If you’re out looking for a beer club to join, you can’t go wrong with the Microbrewed beer of the Month Club. They’re reliable, friendly, have a great selection, and their prices are quite competitive.
What else can you ask for?
